What Is Freedom?

Freedom
is a treasured gift
That was fought for long ago.
There are some around this world
That would not have it so.
It
is being able to speak and say
Whatever it may be.
It is being able to sit side by side
Or to stand and disagree.
Freedom
is something
That must be exercised!
We must not take freedom lightly.
It is a gift so highly prized!
There
are special ones among us
Who defend it for us all!
They leave their friends and family
When they hear their country's call.
I
thank you in each country,
I remember those who fall.
Let us never let them wonder,
They that hear their country's call.
